please help im a girl %26amp; this will be the biggest attempt to make something look better that ive ever done. (:

the seller sais....The sides are made from sleepers and the base is a chipboard type timber. With decorative arcitrave edging

so what paint for those woods? and any other suggestions would be much appreciated.I want to do this shabby bed up but need help? how would i paint it?
it's WONDERFUL!!.... go get some WHITE STAIN..... not paint... STAIN..... go over it twice.... leave the dents, the peels and all ....that's if you want to keep the shabby-chic look.... otherwise, sand it first and use a good primer and paint ...... would suggest getting it off the floor with bun legs.... wouldn't paint with water=based paint on the chipboard bottom... the mattress will cover that... just leave it as is.....

I think the fact that it looks ';worn'; is a plus. I may lightly sand it , and clear coat it. To leave it looking ';old';. just a suggestion. If you try to ';strip'; it, the glues may 'let go' and it may all fall apart.
If you're gonna paint it, make it colorful.
Just because I like things that way I'd sand it clean and just put a stain of your choice on it. The instructions on how to do a stain are on the can and fairly simple. Whatever you do, of course, you sand it clean, but if you decide to paint you can use almost any color. It might be interesting with this design to do the Nordic type. I've seen pictures of the Nordic beds next to the fireplace. Perhaps a blue with tiny flowers as accents. If you're more modern design and style, you can really make any choices on colors and accents, or no accents.
