How to fix wall damage from feeling off the wall paper before painting?

I am taking off the old wall paper (10yrs old), no liquid apply, some area has been damaged by the old glue with fast peeling, use the sander to get rid of the glue. I put new sheetrock to repair, then, texture it, paint it, it still shows the damage and the repair lines. Anyone knows what is the best way to repair wall damage and without leave a mark? Need a Quick and effective solution. Thanks. How to fix wall damage from feeling off the wall paper before painting?
Your experience is not qualified for this job..1st you stripped wallpaper by simply pulling it off..no stripper such as ';dif';..second the damage wasnt from the old glue, but rather the new ';applicator..being you';...you did not know how to match the existing texture..evidently...or it wouldn't show..so next time ';don't let it show';..quit sqeezing pennies and hire a pro';...Your experience was not capable of tackling this task..You took too many shortcuts..How to fix wall damage from feeling off the wall paper before painting?

How much should I charge someone to tutor them with painting?

    I'm a pro contemporary painter.

Just wondering how to go about pricing sessions for tutoring?

Say twice a month for an hour and a half per session.

Thanks in advance...How much should I charge someone to tutor them with painting?
I say the a basic rate of 50 bucks per hour is good. so 75 dollars for each seasion you speak of!How much should I charge someone to tutor them with painting?
Although you're a professional, you're not mending anything like a mechanic so you should charge similar rates to someone such as a piano teacher. Maybe $70 for an hour and a half. That's if they bring their own materials. Obviously more if they're expecting to use yours. Although I wouldn't overcharge them. If you charge a little less than expected they might ask for lessons more often.
You are a professional. See what they are charging now for car mechanics and plumbers in your area, probably about $70-80 per hour. You can charge the same, if your clients can handle it.

Here, plumbers are $75, the garage is $83, and ice skating is $86.

How to make a baby painted turtle shell strong?

the shell is not soft like gushy but it is a littile thin what do i need to do to make it strongHow to make a baby painted turtle shell strong?
It is normal but you should start now to build up the bone. Feed it earthworms and small fishes (not goldfish -- junk food). Liver dusted in bonemeal will provide both the calcium and the vitamin D needed to absorb it.

It's nice to find a turtle's human who plans ahead. Best of luck. How to make a baby painted turtle shell strong?
Make sure it can get out of the water and bask in light that includes UVA and UVB rays. Feed it guppies - live ones. The calcium in their bones will help. You can check out supplements at the pet store but I've found a natural approach is better.
Drop tiny pieces of cuttle bone which can be found at local pet stores this adds calcium and progresses the growth of every bone in the body. Hardens the shell to but this can only work if their is a uvb light looking over it.

I'm trying to make a digital photo look like a painting using all kinds of programs, how can I do it best?

I have GIMP, Picasa, Photoshop 7 (which I don't know how to use), ACDSee and Photo express 3. I tried all sort of stuff but it's never quite what I'm trying to get.

If you have any tutorials or simple instructions please put them here.I'm trying to make a digital photo look like a painting using all kinds of programs, how can I do it best?
    Gimp ~image editor,

    Adobe - Photoshop CS3

    Picasa Album viewer

    ACDSee Photo Editor

gimp, photoshop, and acdsee have some artistic filter you can apply to image for painting effects, picasa has some effects, yet not for art paint effects, by combining any of your results you could achieve what you wanted, there are also texture filter options like canvas that you can apply with paint effect,

How to make my room emo/scene? NO PAINT.?

hi before i start , im not labeling.. i just dont know any other way to desribe it.

my room is smallish and im not allowed to paint it.. my room colour is white and i have dark blue curtains.

what are some tips, websites, links or photos?

    anything will help ^^

    thanks in advanced xD

xHow to make my room emo/scene? NO PAINT.?
I'm truthfully unsure of whether you're a girl or a boy. If you're a girl, here's a photo of a scene bedroom, and you can imitate some of that.

    http://photo.xanga.com/xbertyx/440bf2278鈥?/a>

But in general, even if your a boy, the idea is the same. Band posters, CDs, music, anything you buy from Hot Topic...use those. How to make my room emo/scene? NO PAINT.?
You could put funky pictures that you take in black and white or find some at a photo store. Cover up the walls with cool and interesting bands that you like, just to fill up the white walls. You might also want to get new bed sheets to match your curtains, or go in a different approach with something really random like neon, but that's not exactly emo. Hope this helped! Oh and you could get cheap sheets at Ikea or Target. Maybe even switch out your light bulbs to glow in the dark/neon. that way when you turn on the lights the white walls will look soooooo cool!!

I used multiple tapestries with thumbtacks on my walls since I could not paint. Urbanoutfitters.com has lots of them in pop art designs. I also used band posters to cover all of my doors.. I took paper lanterns and hung them in the corners of the room for light. I made sure everything matched (I used black, white and teal) to make sure the room didnt look sloppy.

Another thing you can do it take a large colored sheet and spread it out outside. Take a color paint (one that contrasts to the sheet color) and splatter paint all over it randomly. Then hang this sheet on the wall so it is tight. This will cover your walls so they arent boring but is not permanent. As long as you hang the sheet up so it is stretched across the wall and secured at the ceiling and floor it won't look like what it is. You can also use safety pins to hang up posters/pictures onto the sheet.
at the head of your bed or over a desk I'd suggest getting all of your CD covers, lay them out length wise or just by the cover, tape them on the back side and put that up from wall to ceiling. It's not only modern but pretty emo.

Another idea is to take pictures of random people that aren't looking very happy, print it in black and white or pictures of a forest in winter is always pretty dark.

If you want a real shock then either do a whole wall of a lot of one thing (i.e. posters) so no wall is showing leaving the rest of the walls completely blank or have one small picture out of the entire room in a black frame. You're room will look larger either way and part of being emo is being simple with style.
    Um,

To go for the goth look I suggest you maybe put band posters up.

That's always the best thing to do.

Also, maybe get a different bed set.

If your going for goth/scene do something dark like black or dark blue to match the curtains

    I hope I could help! =]
well u might want to put in some pice to cover the walls or maybe some wallpaper.

I have about ten to 15 painting Ive made how do I go about selling them???

I must say they are very Impresive and the frames are niceley done, the sizes varie, most are 11 x 14 I need Ideas Please!!! water colors and acrilics.I have about ten to 15 painting Ive made how do I go about selling them???
Do not put your artwork on Ebay! I sell items on Ebay and tried once to auction a couple of my paintings and they sold for peanuts. Not the best place for artwork. Here is the best site I have found, norma2u2, and I am getting about 250 hits a day. It is easy to use and first level is free. Put your art on this site and see what happens. You'll get lots of feedback, I promise!

Contact art galleries and see if they will show your work in exchange for a percentage of the sales. In the meantime...keep painting!
Approach local restaurants and ask to allow the restaurant to show with the possibility of selling to interested patrons.
    EBAY!! DUHHH!!!!
