How much would it cost to get a classic impala painted?

I want to paint it glossy red or midnight black. Does color affect cost. Where is the best place to get classic cars painted?How much would it cost to get a classic impala painted?
body work if any and a good paint job will run you close to $6,000 for a job that you will be proud of, you will have to go to some car shows around where you live and ask the participants where they get their cars painted and then check the places out. You are probably looking at over $5000. I just had my classic 72 Riviera painted the original color (crystal blue) with clear coat and not including the viynyl roof it came to an even $5k. Work is still cheap here in ND.
