How to remove painted price from windshield from car?

purchased vehicle at night - drove it off the lot. detail/body shop was not open. How do I get the painted year/mileage info off the windshield? Don't want to take time off work to take it back to dealer or another detail shop. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksHow to remove painted price from windshield from car?
Goof-Off works well. How to remove painted price from windshield from car?
well i know this on take some glass cleaner an a razor blade it works well and its what i used to do at a shop i worked at you dont want to use wd 40 it will leave a oily look on the windsheild
Try WD-40 this removes all kinds of things..... also alcohol and nail remover might work.
Methyl-Ethyl Keytone (common in nail polish remover)
Razor blade
Steve-o is right, razor blade.
Start with the easy and safe methods first. Warm water and soap liberally applied with a rough cloth/towel. If that doesn't work, razor blade and scrape. If you use anything stronger than WD40, you risk damage to your paint as well as the seal around your window, not to mention the possibilities on your health.
use a stiff cloth like cotton to rub as much off as possible, then try using an ice scrapper. both with rubbing alchohol or nail polish remover. this, along with a few mins of intense rubbing got the info off of my van window.
Soap and Water, worked on mine. doesn't damage the windshield gloss either.
finger nail polish remover will do it for sure.
