i have a wall in my house that keeps peeling, no matter how main times i re patch the wall, it keeps peeling. There is a radiator right below the spot and a window right above it.
Can you explain how i can fix this problem and not have it continue to peel once i patch and paint it again. How to repair paint that is peeling from plaster walls?
It sounds like you have a moisture problem, either it is condensating from the temperature differences between the window and the radiator OR there is moisture being ';wicked'; in from the outside wall. Two different solutions:
1. Paint a basement concrete sealer or primer on your wall that paint again. Rememebr to prepare the wall first by removing all the loose paint.
2. Try ventilating your area with a fan for air movement, radiator heat could create high humidity.
Hope that helps
