How much do you think it would cost me to get my 2000 2-door Tracker painted?





I want the paint job to last at least 4-5 years.How much will it cost to get my car painted?
maaco will do the job for relatively cheap depending on which package of theirs you pick. but if u go too cheap they skimp out on the prep work and do the job halfassed. by that i mean they dont take off badges, and just go around them, trim pieces and whatnot dont get taken off. stuff like that and youll end up paying around 500 to 900 dollars depending on the size of your car. but maaco is rather crappy what you could do is perhaps do all the prep work yourself and then take it to maaco, you know , sand down to bare metal, add filler where needed, remove rust and stuff like that, it is hard work, i know. but its well worth it, but then again maaco does 1 to 2 year paint jobs in my opinion. when they say it should last 5 to 10 years. the best thing to do is dont be cheap on it. take it to a local shop, it may not be cheap, but itll be well worth it.





expect to pay in the 1000's for a nice paint job. doing your own prep work will also save you a big chunk of change. but i mean if all else fails you can always use spray paint, or get an air compressor and spray gun and do it yourself. youll save loads. and then again spray paint paintjobs dont come out that horrible if you take your time with itHow much will it cost to get my car painted?

It depends on the exterior condition and how much you want repaired, all every day users have damage to them n one way or another, mostly parking lot dings, a quality paint job now day,s will run from $1000.00 to $3000.00 because of the amount of plastic that needs to be removed before repainting. Door handles, belt moldings, bumpers, and sometime front and back glass, sure you could go to Johnny and Mack buy the Railroad track and get it done cheaper, but you ll be lucky to get a year out of it , and what ever happen,s don't pressure wash it, you will pick up your paint job and put it in a bag.


most people aren't awere of just how automotive paint has become, a cheep pant is around $ 60.00 per gallon

you get what you pay for, any good paint job will run you $2,500 at least and thats if it's ready to paint and all they have to do is mask it off and shoot it.
