The funny thing about car painting is that they are going to charge you about the same amount for an expensive car as they would for a cheap car. Regardless of what kind of car it is, the process for painting it is just about the same. The only difference in cost would be in the cost of parts that have to be replaced after painting such as emblems, moldings, or certain trim pieces. A good shop will probably charge over $5,000 and probably closer to $10,000. If you're going to bother getting it painted, of course you will want to have any dings or scratches repaired as well.
I use to own and run a body shop in Missouri. I wouldn`t touch a color change car for less than 6000 dollars irregardless of what brand it was. And that was my minimum. That being said, my son was the painter very good at his job and we stayed busy constantly doing custom paint work or repairing insurance damage on new vehicles.

To do this properly, all body trim has to be taken off, they have to paint inside the doors, inside the trunk, under the hood, this involves taking apart and preparing lots of stuff. For a proper job this would easily run $5K and up.
It depends on the quality of the paint job you want anywhere from 1000-5000 for a high quality job
A good job is a couple thousand dollars. Not cheap, but if you can afford a new Mercedes, you should be able to afford it.
Really good quality...u would have to strip the car down to a shell...no motor no trans to glass an no interior. cuz if u didnt u open the hood...oh it used to b silver...ur talkin at least 7k
