just painted and its dusty so i need to compound and pollish it.How long should i wait after painting a car to compound and pollish it so its smooth?
When sprayed with clearcoat and hardener the best results are when it's watersanded and buffed very soon ,usually after around 24 hours.You want the paint a little soft when doing this.When it's totally cured after a few days it's going to be a miserable job.I usually give it a hard buff very soon then after a few days give it a burnish and polish.
